In this application domain, CAN is used in stationary equipment (e.g. milking machines) as well as in agriculture and forestry machines. This includes powertrain system in tractors as well as embedded networks in implements. For the communication between tractor and implements the Isobus application profile was standardized (ISO 11783 series).
