The Isobus-controller is prepared for the use on utility vehicles and machines. The communication with a virtual Terminal like Basic-Terminal, Basic-Terminal TOP or Comfort-Terminal runs on the standardized CAN network (ISO 11783). The Isobus-controller is equipped with a 16-bit CPU-card with flash memory. Software updates and configuration files can be downloaded across CAN.

Actuators and sensors are connected to one up to three 42-pin connectors via a cable loop, which consists of corrugated tubes. Diagnostic functions are available for all in- and outputs, which are protected against short circuits to ground or operating voltage. The electronic control unit II supplies the power for the sensors at the 42-pin connectors. All inputs for revolution sensors can be configured for sensors switching operating voltage or GND.
