The PowerCAN-PCI is a high-performance CAN interface and controller card. It provides up to three opto-isolated CAN channels with a maximum data transfer speed of 1 Mbit/s at 100 % bus load on each channel.

It is used as a controller card in both standard and highly complex machines. Together with the available multithreaded API and the CANopen Master Protocol Stack it is possible to have simultaneous accesses with multiple threads from an application to a CAN network.

Due to the high-performance software interface it is guaranteed that no CAN-frame is lost even with 100 % bus load at 1 Mbit on all three CAN channels, which makes the PowerCAN-PCI a highly reliable component for applications requiring precise performance.

To fit the PowerCAN in every individual application design, it is available for the PCI, PC104+ and CPCI bus using the same device driver and API interface.
