LTN-RCC sensor

Availability
In stock

The LTN-RCC is an angular sensor with integrated CANopen-controller, it uses a 1-polpair resolver or a 3-polpair resolver for the angular detection. The single speed version works as an absolute sensor.
The LTN-RCC uses a monolithic RDC-IC for resolver to digital converting and a separate microprocessor for all other functions (control, communication, scaling, speed calculating).

Accuracy: ±6 arcmin, ±10 arcmin; others on request.

Repeatability: ± LSB of the set resolution
e.g. at 16 bit / 65 536 increments: ±0,33 arcmin. with single speed resolver and ±0,11 arcmin with triple speed resolver

Max. speed: 1 080 revolutions per minute for the single speed version and 360 rpm. for the three speed version.

Max. resolution: 16 bit with single-speed resolver and 3 × 16 bit with triple-speed resolver as sensor.

The resolution can be scaled between 2 and 65 536 increments per (electrical) revolution by CANopen protocol.

Zero preset and the change of the direction of rotation (CW - CCW) are supported.

The outputs of the LTN-RCC are : position value (increments) and current speed (increments/sec.)

Bit-rate and the node-ID can be set with microswitches or LSS.

Possible bit-rate settings: 10, 20, 50, 125, 250, 500, 800 or 1 000 kB/s.

Possible node ID settings: 0 to 127 (dec)

The internal bus terminating resistor (120 Ω / 1 W or 15 W) can be connected by wire-bridge (screw-terminals).

Power supply: 10 VDC to 36 VDC

Power consumption: ∼2 W (e.g. 70 mA at 24 V).

Operating temperature: −40 °C to +85 °C

The LTN-RCC is protected against the wrong polarity of power supply and overvoltage on all terminals.

Mechanical interface:

  • Shaft with internal thread M10
  • Shaft with tapped hole ø 10mm including three grubscrews M4 for radial clamping

Mechanical versions:

  • Open version (IP20) with plastic cover (tube) and screw terminals (2 × 5 terminals)
  • Capsuled version (IP67) with anodized aluminium enclosure and two M12 5-pin connectors
  • (1 × male, 1 × female)
