The Acuro industry is an absolute shaft encoder (encoder, angle encoder). It is available with several interfaces like SSI, BiSS, Profibus, CANopen, CAN layer2, DeviceNet, Interbus and SUCOnet.
The version AC58 with CANopen sends its current position and several diagnostic data to other stations using the "CAN-bus" transmission protocol. Furthermore it can be configured in various ways using this interface.
Fields of application:
In systems, where the position of a drive or of any other part of a machine has to be recorded and signalled to the control system, the Acuro industry can take over this function. The Acuro industry can solve, for instance, positioning tasks by sending the feedback signal concerning the present drive position and other data via the CANopen to the positioning unit.
