The IPC-3 is a highly compact industrial PC for mounting directly on the TS35. Due to the modular concept of the IPC-3 it is possible to fit the IPC-3 perfectly to the application requests. Furthermore the IPC-3 provides up to four opto isolated CAN interfaces to the user. These CAN interfaces are CAN-high-speed and CAN-low-speed software switchable. The operating system can be installed on the internal 2,5 inch HD display (HDD) or the external compact flash card, so you can drive the IPC-3 without using a HDD. Supported operating systems are Microsoft Windows2000, XP, XPembedded as well as Linux and RMOS for real-time applications. Other operating systems are available on inquiry. In addition the IPC-3 can also be used as a PLC by using a SOFT-PLC with IEC 61131-3.

• Compact flash support up to 1 GiB. You can replace the internal HDD with a compact flash card. You can boot from the compact flash just as from a HDD. This is especially useful if the IPC is used in hot surroundings, where the HDD may collapse.
