CAN Interface for PC with USB

CAN-USBX is the ideal high-performance low-cost solution for monitoring and performing low-level diagnostics over CAN networks. The main features of CAN-USBX are:

• Interfacing PCs running Windows (from 95 to XP, Vista) to CAN networks.
• Standard CAN 5-wire open-style connector.
• Standard USB connector and cable for USB 2.0 connection to PC.
• Opto-isolated CAN interface.
• On-board microcontroller for message management and buffering.
• On-board software programmable CAN termination.

CAN-USBX interface is supplied with the following software:

• Communication API DLL with OLE interface that allows to easily development of communication software in all development environments, data acquisition applications and script hosts (HTML, Microsoft Office etc.).
• CANopen DLL with OLE interface for SDO data exchange with CANopen devices.
• CAN diagnostics tools for traffic monitoring, packet dumping and real-time analysis. The tool is supplied with Visual Basic source code.
• Firmware upgrade utility.

When used with Axel's SoftScope software, CAN-USBX allows to perform graphic real-time analysis of data exchanged on CAN and CANopen networks.

Optional CAN-USBX features are:

• Embedded CANopen master stack for management of real-time applications
• Embedded PLC (64 KB of code) for real-time application development and/or message management
• Compatible with IEC 611131-3 LogicLab compiler (5 PLC languages)
