Anybus-CompactCom CANopen plug-in module

Anybus CompactCom is a family of plug-in fieldbus and industrial Ethernet modules for industrial automation, which are designed for integration into automation devices such as HMIs, robot controllers, drives, PLCs, valve blocks, instruments, weigh scales and many more industrial products. The CANopen module complements the product family with a powerful solution for instant connectivity.

The Anybus-CompactCom CANopen is a CANopen slave module, providing up to 32 TPDOs and 32 RPDOs, with instant connectivity via the uniform Anybus-CompactCom host interface.

The CANopen module incorporates both a parallel and serial interface and with its innovative design and CompactFlash mounting mechanism provides optimal flexibility for OEM device manufacturers. The software interface is designed to be protocol independent, no additional driver code needs to be written in order to use the module and take advantage of its features. Process data is accessed from the CANopen network as process data objects (PDOs), and ADIs (Parameter Data) are available via acyclic read/write services. Diagnostic functionality is provided via the generic diagnostic object.

Powered by the Anybus NP30 Network ASIC processor, the Anybus CompactCom family provides device manufacturers with interchangeable connectivity solutions for many important industrial networks, among them, Profibus, DeviceNet, CANopen, CC-Link, Modbus-RTU, EtherNet/IP, Modbus-TCP, Profinet IO, RS-232, RS-485, RS-422, USB and Bluetooth.
