Ixxat's CANopen protocol software enables a simplified and fast implemtation of CANopen Slave and simple Master devices on a large selection of supported target platforms. All CANopen communication mechanisms are covered by the software package which handles protocol-specific operations completely autonomously and notifies the application only if required. To achieve a reduced overhead the CANopen Protocol Software features a flat software structure with functional entities like Process/Service Data Object handling, Synchronization, and Network Management implemented in seperate modules. CANopen Manager Software
This software allows the implementation of powerful CANopen Master devices including Master and Slave functionality according to CiA 301 V4 with additional mechanisms specified in CiA 302 and CiA 405. All necessary interfaces and interface functions for managing the process image, controlling the system bootup and node management/guarding are available. The software can be used with or without operating systems and supports integration with IEC 61131-3 based runtime systems.
CANopen RT
The real-time CANopen software allows the development of CANopen Master/Slave devices using a real-time operating system. The software is available for EUROS, VxWorks and as generic version for the adaptation to other operating systems.
CANopen Maritime Software
CANopen Software for the development of CANopen devices for maritime environments and other application areas that require redundant communication mechanisms according to CiA 307.
CANopen Master API for Windows
The CANopen Master API allows the fast and easy development of a CANopen Master application running under Windows (9x/NT/2000/XP). The most common intelligent interfaces from Ixxat are supported. The firmware part of the CANopen Master API runs on the CAN interface microcontroller system and handles all data transmission and reception as well as the Master functionality by itself.
