Vector CANopen slave source code

The Slave Source Code provides all functions necessary for a CANopen slave and thereby allows the user to design applications with a CANopen-conform slave functionality.

The code is conform to the CANopen specification CiA 301 Version 4.02:
  • Multiple SDO server
  • SDO block transfer
  • Examples for entries in the device profile area are included
  • Eight PDOs (for receive and transmit), extensible up to 2x100
  • Pre-defined connection set
  • SYNC-consumer message
  • EMCY-producer message
  • Heartbeat consumer/producer message
  • With variable or static data mapping for PDOs
  • Transmission types adjustable for all PDOs (synchron/asynchron/time-triggered)
  • Support of a DIP-Switch for adjustment of Module-ID and bit-rate
  • Support of non-volatile storage

The following add-ons can be integrated to the basic slave source code:

  • CANopen LSS
  • Minimal master functionality

The CANopen Source Code is available for many microcontrollers.
