canAnalyser tool

Availability
In stock

Ixxat's canAnalyser is a powerful tool for the development, maintenance and service of CAN, CANopen, DeviceNet and SAE J1939 based systems.

Complementing the powerful basic functionality for transmission, reception and interpretation of CAN messages, Ixxat offers an optional CANopen add-on module that significantly simplifies CANopen network and protocol analysis.

The CANopen module performs a CANopen specific interpretation of received CAN messages and displays data transmitted by means of CANopen protocols as plaintext. The CANopen module conforms to most recent CANopen specifications and supports among other things the SDO block transfer protocol. Message interpretation and analysis is available in either scroll or overwrite modes.

For PDOs, the module uses the information provided in the device specific device description files (EDS, DCF, or XDD) to determine the mapping information and to display the data. Received messages may be filtered based on different criteria like Node-ID, SDO, PDO or NMT. Further features include the display of Multiplexed PDOs (both source and destination addressing mode), the interpretation of LSS and Flying-Master protocols as well as the possibility to convert a Vendor-ID to the corresponding company name.

The configuration of the CANopen module may be done manually, by using either pre-defined device profile files, or by direct import of preconfigured device description files.
