µ-FlexControl and IPC-FlexControl:
The µ-FlexControl is a micro-controller-based PLC with 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs. In order to gain a maximum of possible application fields it uses Codesys V2.3 as a runtime system. There are all programming languages contained in one program, making the PLC a powerful and universally usable tool. It incorporates a CAN interface according to CiA 301 and Cia 401 with a maximum transfer rate of 1 MBit/sec.
The IPC-FlexControl completes the Sontheim PLC range. It is a PC-based PLC housed in our industrial-suited IPC-4. There is Codesys V3 used for the Soft-PLC and QNX as an operating system. This guarantees strictly defined cycle times and therefore opens the application fields of high process safety.
