All members of this family of operator terminals enable the fast and therefore cost-effective development of graphical human-machine interfaces – in particular using the Codesys 3 IDE. The included graphic libraries are continuously being expanded and contain standard elements such as bar charts and menu blocks that can easily be integrated. Also, unicode fonts are supported, which allows the creation of multi-language interfaces. In addition, this new platform offers you standard setting advanced features like the display of videos and PDF documents. Users can work with USB 2.0 OTG to download operating data or upload new software. With its 32-bit ARM Cortex A8 CPU running at 800 MHz, HY-eVision² is probably the fastest booting operator terminal for mobile machinery currently on the market. It runs on either a 12 V or 24 V power supply.

The product offers up to four independent CAN channels with built-in CANopen functionality, which makes it easy to create smart networks containing I/O modules or ECUs from different suppliers. In a typical set-up one would read engine data through a j1939 channel and use the HY-eVision² as CANopen master for connected HY-TTC 36X or HY-TTC 48X slave controllers from TTControl.

The HY-eVision² is currently available in a 7-inch and a 10,4-inch format, and both models are protected by very robust housings against electromagnetic disturbance and mechanical stress. The recommended ambient operating temperature ranges from −30 °C to +60 °C. The ingress protection degree extends up to IP67 on the front.
