TRAS 1000 CANopen data-logger and safety controller

Availability
In stock

The company

Synics is devoted since 1988 to the development of innovative devices for safety applications and bus communications, particularly for public-transport vehicles and elevators. Its development, production and service processes are ISO 9001:2000 certified.

The product

The data recorders and safety controllers of the TRAS family (transportation recording and analyzing system) feature a great ability to adapt to a wide range of applications.

Recording

The recording of digital and analog signals is carried out with up to 0,5 m resolution. The resulting data is stored in a PC card (PCMCIA), which can be read with a standard PC. Our Wintras2 software allows a user-configurable data analysis (for accidents, technical problems in the vehicle, etc.) and data export (maintenance planning, statistics).

Safety

With the embedded TRAS-AL application language, all TRAS devices allow the implementation of application-specific safety-relevant functions and general control tasks, e.g., dead-man, vigilance and speed supervision, reverse-travel protection, speed-indication feedback. If required by the safety class of the application, two TRAS devices can be coupled together to conform a redundant system.

Electrical inputs/outputs

  • 16 digital inputs, 2 analog inputs, 2 speed inputs, 8 digital outputs, 1 analog output, 1 distance pulse synthesizer, supply 24 VDC to 72 VDC (±30 %)

Recorded logical signals

  • Up to a total of 32 digital inputs and 8 analog inputs, 2 speed inputs, timestamp, kilometer-counter, vehicle-ID, one free-text field (32 characters)

Additional connections

  • Double-TRAS and speed-indicator feedback over local EIA-485 (RS-485) network, IBIS-bus

Application-specific programming

  • Adaptability of control functions through the embedded TRAS-AL application language
