Ixxat's canAnalyser is a versatile tool for the development, maintenance and service of CAN, CANopen, DeviceNet and J1939-based systems.

Besides the powerful basic functionality of the canAnalyser, for the transmission, reception and interpretation of CAN messages, Ixxat offers with the J1939 module an extension, which displays the received messages according to the SAE J1939 notation.

This includes the interpretation of received messages and the extraction of parameter group number, source address and transmitted suspect parameters with SPN, SP name, value and unit.

Furthermore the messages priority, data page, protocol data unit format and protocol data unit specific fields are displayed.

Parameter groups and suspect parameters are interpreted according to the J1939 specification and displayed in plaintext. Proprietary application messages can be interpreted if a user defined database with parameter group and suspect parameter definitions is provided.

Furthermore the J1939 module provides processing and interpretation of the transport protocol as well as the interpretation of diagnostic messages.

To clearly arrange displayed messages, it is possible to set filters for parameter group numbers as well as source and destination addresses. Received messages can be saved into a CSV file. Furthermore, the filter and module configuration can be stored, imported and exported.
